August 2016 was the darkest month in singer Akothee's life after she lost her twin pregnancy.

Akothee collapsed at a train station in Geneva, Switzerland and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she underwent successful surgery but unfortunately none of her unborn babies survived.

The self-proclaimed president of single mothers later broke the sad news of her miscarriage on her social media accounts and penned a touching message to her unborn twins.

MY HEART IS HEAVY AS I WAS GETTING MORE COMFORTABLE WALKING WITH YOU AROUND, I HAD LOTS OF DREAMS AND IMAGINATIONS ON HOW PINK & BLUE WOULD LOOK LIKE, I’M VERY SORRY THAT WE DIDN’T MEET HERE ON EARTH, BUT I BELIEVE WE SHALL SEE EACH OTHER SOMEWHERE SOON, THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND SUPPORT FAMILY IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL.

Well, Akothee remembers the darkest moment in her life and shared her experience after losing her twin pregnancy. taking to social media she wrote;

I was 2 months pregnant Luo festival, few months later I lost the pregnancy that almost took away my life, people wished me death , "I wish you die in that bed , you make me feel terrible about my own life," that was a fan telling me in the DM 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 , forget about the ones yapping hate on the page!

Akothee says it's at this point she developed a thick skin for trolls and that's why she always engages them.
