Last month, President Uhuru Kenyatta signed into law a Bill that categorises miraa as a cash crop. He then allocated Sh1 billion to miraa farmers to cushion them from shocks of an international ban on the stimulant drug. 

The President also announced the establishment of a task force to look into issues affecting miraa farming and source new markets. The funny thing is, there's still no market for this thing!

On a recent vlog, media personality Caroline Mutoko weighed in on the issue that has greatly affected the AMERUcans and also urged the Kenyan government  to legalize the growing of Marijuana for export since it has a ready international market.
