Two suspected thieves were last night shot dead along Kangundo Road, Nairobi and a gun recovered from them. Police say the men were planning to rob a petrol station there when the shooting happened.
Police had been informed in time of the plans before they ambushed the men prompting a brief chase that left the two dead.
The pistol they had was loaded with three bullets. This increased to ten, the number of suspects killed since Sunday. Six others were killed Tuesday night in separate incidents in the city.
