Ugandan journalist Simon Kaggwa Njala announced the launch of his clothing line on Tuesday, September 10, featuring the phrase “Why are you gay?”

He revealed that he has started a business selling apparel branded with his image and the provocative slogan "Why are you gay?"

Kaggwa took to his official X account to share the news, saying, “Kabooooooom! Want to shake things up with a ‘Why are you gay?’ T-shirt?”

“It’s officially endorsed by OG Simon Kaggwa Njala. The only original ‘Why are you gay?’ Tee. All proceeds go to Uganda. Amazing, I know!”

The T-shirts will be sold for $59, which is approximately Ksh 7,611 at the current exchange rate.

Simon Kaggwa Njala, a prominent host of the Morning Breeze show on NBS Uganda, is known for his intense and direct interviews.

His work at NBS TV, part of the Next Media group, has made him a notable figure in Ugandan media.
