Menu for Kenyan delegation at White House dinner revealed

Award winning actress Catherine Kamau has provided insight into who funded her trip to the US as part of the Kenya Government delegation.

There has been debate online as to the alleged cost of the trip and whether it is tax payer funded. Kate reacted on her social media, disclosing creatives among others were funded by the US Government.

Kate, Eddie Butita and other journalists were invited by the US Government,

"Before you ignorantly come under my Recent posts Kindly Note," she cautioned.

Adding,

"1. My invitation was courtesy @US Embassy "

"2. This trip is fully self-sponsored just in case you thought my brand is beans," she continued to reveal.

Lastly, she informed netizens to, "Breathe beloved I AM JUST GETTING STARTED."

In addition, she provided a look at the menu they were served for guests who had been invited for dinner at the White House on May 22.

The elaborate but beautiful 4-course meal (Below) shows it is held in honor of President Ruto's visit.

On the menu for starters was Chilled Heirloom Tomato Soup served with sourdough crips, and Arbequina olive oil.

That was followed by fruitwood smoked beef short ribs and butter-poached lobster with citrus butter, baby kale, and sweet corn puree.

The third was a desert consisting white chocolate basket: Banana ganache, raspberries, peach, and candied lime zest.

The drink of the night was Hartford Court Chardonnay, St Innocent Pinot Noir, and Iron Horse classic vintage brut.

The Thursday menu also consisted of drawings of the Kenyan and US flags.
