A famous businessman who lives in Lagos, Nigeria, has hit the headlines after he posted dirty photos of widows with whom he had previously been in a relationship on a church WhatsApp group.
According to Punch Metro magazine, the man posted the photos on the church's WhatsApp group and later also sent them to family members and the office of the late husband of one of the widows.
One of the widows identified as Kester confirmed that her in-laws and the pastor called her to express their solidarity with her.
The second victim, Temi, said the suspect usually had intimacy with her repeatedly in hotels while under the influence of drugs.
However, after they fell out, he sent her more than 50 dirty photos that he secretly took after making love in the hotel.
"By the time I'm done, suicide will be her only option," the businessman said.
On Tuesday alone, the businessman sent the dirty photos to at least 48 people.
The magazine had reported in a special feature on Sunday that two women, Kester and another identified only as Temi, met Kennedy separately on separate WhatsApp and Facebook chat groups for singles.
Kester, who lost her husband about eight years ago in a car accident, said the businessman, after talking to her, started showering her with monetary gifts.
However, after they fell out, he sent her more than 50 dirty photos that he secretly took after making love in a hotel.
She said the suspect demanded N100,000 [18 thousand shillings] from him as a condition to delete the pictures.
The mother of two noted that after she sent the money and asked if the photos were deleted, he demanded an additional N40,000 [Sh 7 thousand] to delete them completely, which she paid.
Despite the payment, the suspect continued to share the photos on Facebook.
