2022 has been that year that several celebrities have shared with their fans their desire to shed their trademark look for somethign diferent.

Some of them have been after their relationships ended, while others simply said it is tiem to move on.

1. Risper Faith

She explained her lmove "I just decided to shave myhair am now a girl toto. Is it a ya or nay?

Risper added that her husband Brian approved the new look. "Brian says nakka manzi wa Kakamega"

2. Singer Vivianne

Vivianne was going through a tumultous time in her marriage and soon as news broke that she had split from husband Sam West, the singer premiered a clean shaven head.

3. Thee Pluto

Pluto shaved his dreadlocks after being offered 1 million in exchange by aspiring politician Wangui Ng'ang'a.

Speaking during an interview with Mungai Eve he said;

Someone dared me that If I shave my dreads they would give me a million in cash. The offer was made weeks ago.

I thought about it and I finally decided to go through with it. I have not been given the cash but I will receive the cash on Saturday.

4. Sean Andrew

The brand ambassador and model revealed this information on his Instagram page. Though he is aware his looks are the biggest draw, he wasn't afraid to let his fans express themselves at the sudden change.

So he opened up the 'phone lines' telling his fans to keep their comments on his new change, short. While some of his followers made jokes about his new look, most of the feedback he received was positive.

5. Nadia Mukami

Nadia shaved her hair after giving birth. "So that happened, I shaved my hair because of lactation. Whenever I breastfeed, my hair falls off and my hairline is no longer there," she said.

The singer went ahead to make it clear that the decision to shave her hair had no other additional motivations.

"I decided to chop my hair, not for anything. It's not like I feel bad, I feel good and I am enjoying the process," she added.

6. Carrol Muthoni

The baby mama to comedian Mulamwah also cut off her signature dreads and has been spotting a hair do that her fans adore. She said it was a new chapter in her life.

7. Willis Raburu

Speaking to Mungai Eve, the

10 over 10 presenter said he put locks to change his hairstyle.

Raburu had stopped reading the news when he started keeping locks but his fans thought the company asked him to stop because of that.

"People had all sorts of stuff to say after I put on my locks," he said

Adding;

"Although, I had some ups and downs that was not the reason I put the locks, It is something that I have always wanted to do.

It is time I got to a place and said that I needed a change, I have had the locks for about two years."

Raburu said he kept the locks and all through, there was pressure from some of his fans to cut them. Some said he was portraying the father figure in him something he rubbished.

"There is a lot of pressure to remove them. We have celebrities who are fathers and they have had locks since kitambo, the likes of Nameless, Nyash among others. Hair does not make or break you. Some people have locks and they are good dads. I have always been with me for a very wrong time."

8. Willy Paul

Willy Paul said he shaved to stop attracting Delilah's in his life.

The 'Toto' hitmaker says his decision to shave was inspired by different things going on in his life.

Speaking during an interview with Mungai Eve, Pozze as he is fondly known said;

"I did away with sin. I wanted to be a good boy, kijana wa mungu. I decided to get rid of something that Delilah could see and come for.

I have seen a lot, and I have been through a lot so many things contributed to me shaving my hair."
