Couple Simon Kabu and Sarah Kabu's company was feted at the 29th annual travel awards in Nairobi on Saturday.

The travel firm, Bonfire Adventures, emerged tops in the Kenya travel agency award category.

The red carpet event was held at the KICC, and celebrities dressed in gorgeous outfits.

The stars of travel, tourism, and hospitality aligned at the convention center in Nairobi, Kenya to find out who amongst them had won the industry’s ultimate annual honours.

A capacity audience of 400 VIP guests, industry figureheads, and media were in attendance for a sensational World Travel Awards Africa and Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony.

Kenya bagged most of the awards with KICC once again being awarded Africa's Leading Meetings and Conference venue and Nairobi awarded Africa's Leading Business Travel Destination for the fourth year running.

Others who bagged awards were the Sarova Stanley for Kenya's Leading Hotel, Radisson Blu Upper Hill, Somerset View Apartments, and Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club.

Celebrities who graced the event were Milly Chebby and Terence Creative, Size 8 and DJ Mo, Milly and Kabi Wa Jesus, Susan Kaitanny, and Dennis Itumbi among others.

After winning, the couple celebrated on their social media thanking their fans for voting for them.
