• When the president gets to be elected remember that he will be our president and we should all be happy.

• Do not follow or take to heart anything said by keyboard warriors, this can lead to so much harm when you fight over who you think should win.

Elections can be heartbreaking when the person you voted for did not get to be the leader, but this does not mean that life does not go on.

When the person you voted for does not get the chance to be your leader you should be okay with whoever will get the chance.

A good leader is God chosen; you should be assured that the person that gets to be a leader is capable of leading his people and fulfilling their promises.

Here are some of the things that can able us as Kenyans to move on peacefully after elections without shedding any blood of our fellow brothers and sisters;

Accept the leader

Things don't always work out as we want and it is important to understand that.

As for the people we choose to lead we don't always win and therefore you should accept whoever will win it doesn't matter who it is as long he is given the chance to rule that's enough.

I mean don't they say that 'asiyekubali kushindwa si mshindani' we should all be happy for our leaders and let them do their job.

Don't listen to politicians who want to start any kind of war

If a politician lost and they feel bad about it, they don't have to involve everyone else to raise any war.

When they call or post something on social media that might trigger you into anything illegal stay off and don't fall for it; remember we want a peaceful country and fighting just because someone lost will only bring us behind.

Let's be peaceful and avoid falling for little money to harm our people.

Celebrate peacefully

When the president gets to be elected remember that he will be our president and we should all be happy.

We shouldn't provoke anyone who feels otherwise, you can celebrate in the comfort of your home and move about your business the following day.

The president is for us all and we want to ensure that there is no bloodshed at the end of the day.

Be happy for your opponents and wait to see what our new president will have for us.

Stay away from inciteful social media

Social media is a platform that has so much fake news and can be quite gaslighting, especially during this election period.

Do not follow or take to heart anything said by keyboard warriors, this can lead to so much harm when you fight over who you think should win.

Ensure to listen to your heart and be positive as possible, if you feel it's too much and you can take it, you should log off social media until you have cooled off.

Don't mock those who lost

We are all mature adults and we should as one.

When your neighbor is not too happy about the results you should not mock them or laugh at their loss; instead, you should console and make them realize that peace is all that matters and all will be well.

Let's be good neighbors and brothers to one another at the end of the day this is our beloved country and we should ensure to keep it that way.

Let's maintain peace at this time whoever becomes our president and leader will lead accordingly and if they got the chance to lead then that's what was meant to be.
