Many challenges come with being pregnant apart from carrying a being in your body.

Women go through body changes from being young women to a mother, they go through many transitions in those nine months that might affect their mental health.

Mothers suffer from postpartum depression every other day and celebrities are no exception.

However, celebrities are not afraid to come out and speak about their issues to the public this enables other women to relate and see they are not the only ones.

Here is a list of international celebrities who have spoken about their postpartum depression;

Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy Teigen is an American model and a media personality, she is married to the Grammy winner John Legend.

The couple has two adorable kids a girl and a boy; Chrissy has been through a lot when giving birth and trying to get pregnant.

The model suffered from postpartum depression when she had her first child, Luna; she spoke about it and how she felt during that time.

"There were no highs, just a flat line of life for a few months." She said.

Chrissy has not only dealt with postpartum but she also lost a child after giving birth the baby died due to pregnancy complications.

Adele

Adele is a British singer who is a successful woman in her career and also a wonderful mother to her child.

Apart from being a superstar and a Grammy winner she has gone through what most mothers experience after giving birth.

Adele spoke about her mental health during her speech acceptance at the Grammy's in 2107.

"There are a few elements of my life that I don't think I'll ever get back." will never get back.' She said.

Adele considers her son to be her priority when it comes to anything in her life.

"More than anything it's freedom of being able to do whatever you want, whenever you want. Going somewhere and not having to prioritize someone else ."

Angelina Jolie

Angelina never really spoke about her struggles to the public but a source close to her said that the movie star has been having a hard time being a new mother.

The source said that after Angelina Jolie gave birth to her twins she didn't get out of bed for days and her mood swings were all over.

The source continued to say that she has been off with her family but she believed that she would get through it.
