The fuel shortage in Kenya continues to escalate with motorists having to drive for long distances to get fuel.
Long queues are being witnessed across the country throughout the day and night long.
A number of motorists have been sharing their experiences while searching for the - now rare commodity.
One motorist has come out to share his encounter with a mother who was forced to spend the night at a fuel station in pursuit of fuel.
According to the witness, the mother
"At 5Am I picked up a lady with her 2 year old at Total Dennis Pritt, to drop them home. They slept at the petrol station coz they got boxed by other vehicles, while trying to fuel jana and they couldn't get any cab to get home until this morning," the motorist shared.
"They were like 2 vehicles away from getting fuel, the attendants switched off the pumps and said they were done for the day. Si ati they even got fuel. We've left the hubby at the station waiting for the attendants to open...," he added.
In another incident, a police officer got into an altercation with a lady while manning traffic at a petrol station.
