The media fraternity is mourning one of their own.
Nation Media Group sports correspondent Titus Maero was discovered dead in his home.
He is reported to have committed suicide inside his residence at Lulonda village, Navakholo sub-county Kakamega County.
The decomposing body was discovered last evening and a suicide note was nearby.
According to reports, the 59-year-old is said to have been suffering from depression and had been battling intestinal cancer for over 15 years.
Maero was last seen in public on Thursday last week.
His body was moved to Kakamega Referal Hospital mortuary as investigations commence.
