Legendary spinmaster DJ Pinye has said the reason most Kenyan artistes do not succeed is due to a lack of a proper work ethic.
He says Diamond Platnumz is the only African artiste whose work ethics is worth emulating.
Speaking during an interview with the Standard Digital, he shared, "I meet artistes both young and old and they do not want to work they want short cuts.
I am sorry to say this but someone needs to come here and do what Diamond is doing. There is no one here whose work ethics is close to what Diamond Platnumz has.
Most artistes lack discipline. It's easier to mentor a younger person the older one's are always fighting back."
Asked on which artiste he considers talented is music writing Pinye responded, 'The person who writes the best lyrics to date is Bien of Sauti Sol, sio akina Wamlambez."
