Radio Jambo breakfast host Gidi Gidi has pointed out some painful truths to his followers.

Since this is the holiday season, most Nairobians will be jetting off to shags to catch up with family and friends.

Well, Gidi points out that nowadays financial empowerment has reached the shags people and they have advanced and developed their lives way better than the people who left to seek fortunes in the biggest cities. Thanks to the new devolved government structures.

Gidi wrote, "Unarudi Ocha Christmas unapata ma youth wote waliandikwa na County government, wamejenga na wako na axio...wewe kitu uko nayo tu ni luku moto ya Kanairo."

Those truths hurt deeply. Some did not take the observation lightly, it weighed heavily on their souls.
