Dr. BAMU Alumni Association Kenya on Friday 10, December paid a visit to Compassionate Hands of the Disabled Foundation in Ruai.

The early Christmas surprise visit is among a number of charity programs by the group to aid the less fortunate in the society.

With them, they carried foodstuff and other basic needs to support the facility during this festive season.

Members led by the chairperson Dolphina Alego had an opportunity to interact and make merry with the blind, physically and mentally challenged courtesy of the founder of the Home Ann Njeri.

"Currently there is a total of 104 children rescued from the streets by Government authorities, we also receive some from parent who are unable to raise them.

We depend on donations from well wishers and some farm projects install," Said the Home's admin Faith Kamau.
