“The accident occurred on Tuesday at around 8:30 pm near Chepkoiya trading centre in Cherengany Sub County,” reported Wesonga, adding Mr Ondego was heading home from work when he met his death.

She said the body was removed to Cherengany Sub County Hospital mortuary.

Meanwhile, grief engulfed Kapsara Secondary School with students, teachers and workers who spoke to KNA describing the late as a selfless and hardworking servant that would be dearly missed.

Separately 43-years-old Jacob Wafula perished after his car was involved in an accident at Matunda market in Kiminini Sub County the same evening.
