Police in Makueni County arrested one Peter Kyalo Kimeu, who is suspected of killing his lady friend in Changamwe, Mombasa county.
The officers, acting on a tip-off from members of the public, nabbed the suspect as he was allegedly in the process of enlisting services of a witch doctor to facilitate his flight from the law.
The suspect is said to have killed his female friend in Bomu area.
The man was arrested while seeking the services of a witch doctor.
He was found in possession of pesticide liquid that would protect him from being arrested and is expected in court today.
