Alfred Mutua's 4 relationship tips to Kenyans

In an interview with the Standard, governor Alfred Mutua, had some advice to give the youth as far as relationships go.

The politician warned the youth on some potential red flags saying;

“One, a woman who tells you ‘I can’t stand my mother’, run away from her. A young man who tells you ‘I don’t get along with my mother or father’, run, young lady. A good family basis is the foundation of a good relationship."

He also emphasised that people should love each other with all they have and that they shouldn't be violent with their partners;

“When you choose to love someone, love them will all your heart. Don’t be arrogant, don’t be violent. I don’t like violence. Martin Luther King once said there’s enough violence in the 20th Century to last eternity."

He also noted that couples can reconcile even after a breaking up;

“People go apart, and come back together. It’s there in the Bible. It’s God who plans these things. If He says you’ll get back together, you will. Don’t fight His will.”
