DJ Evolve's mum, Mary Hongo was laid to rest at her home village in Homa Bay.
Mary Hongo died at her Lucky Summer home in Nairobi after collapsing on the evening of Wednesday, September 22.
According to an autopsy examination conducted by Chief Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor, Mary died of swelling and rapture of the aorta, the main blood vessel that delivers blood to the body, at the level of the abdomen.
The family's spokesperson, Kennedy Ochieng, said she succumbed to an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA). "AAA is the ballooning, swelling and the eventual rapture of the artery that supplies blood from the aorta," said Ochieng.
Evolve's mum Mary Hongo's funeral was attended by friends of goodwill and close family members. Embakasi East MP Babu Owino accused of allegedly shooting Dj Evolve attended the funeral to console the bereaved family.
"Together with my Mother and wife, we attended the burial of Mama Dj.Evolve at Kobala in Homabay county.May her soul Rest In Peace."
