"Taking some time off after embarrassing situation," Eddie Ndichu narrates

Eddie Ndichu and his twin brother Paul Ndichu are in the eye of the storm of Kenyans collective consternation.

This after a viral video emerged that showed them in an altercation with some patrons from the Ole Sereni Hotel.

Since the video's emergence, the brothers had issued a collective statement through their company, Wapi Pay.

The statement did little but add more fuel to the fire, with most Kenyans calling out the inconsistencies with what they saw in the video versus what they said in their statement.

It seems that this criticism might have reached the ears of Eddie who decided to issue his own solo statement on his Instagram page less than an hour ago.

In the statement, one can sense a more conciliatory tone, with his caption reading; "Here we are... taking some time off... #reflections."

In the statement, Eddie said that he was saddened by the incident but maintained that it would be handled by the appropriate authorities.

He added that he would be taking some time off to reflect on the embarrassing situation and try to reach a speedy conclusion of the matter.

The comments section to his post proves that it will take more for Kenyans to move on from the incident as many were still critical of him. Just check them out for yourself.
