Kiss FM radio presenter Phelix Odiwuor aka Jalang'o has a village road named after him.
The 'Jalas link road' leads to Jalang'o's mansion in his rural home in Kisumu.
Along the road, Jalas has set up a water point that is right outside his mansion.
In a video shared on his YouTube, Jalas says he placed the water point at his fence so that the community can collect free water there.
This, he says, is a way of serving his community as some people have to go to the river to get clean water.
Jalang'o said he rarely lives at his village mansion, and there is a water tank laying idle.
"Most of the time, I am not in the village, so I thought, how do we make the community happy? My guy told me the best way is to create this waterpoint, anybody passing can get water.
What used to hurt me is there is water here.. I used to see people passing, going for water in the river and there is water here," Jalango said.
Jalas welcomed anyone to use the water point as it will cost nothing.
"Whenever you are passing outside my home here you can always drink, enjoy the water and its free."
