Local actor Stephen Kigonyi alias Steve has narrated how sugar mummies approach him wanting a relationship.

Steve acts as a young man kept by a sugar mummy in the show 'Uriro wa Wendo' which airs on Inooro TV.

He now says some people assume he loves sugar mummies in real life.

Speaking during an interview on ItugI TV, the actor shared, "I have never had any sugar mummy in my life.

I work for my own money. Having lost my parents early I was really supported by women and that is why I relate very well with women.

I meet older women wanting me. They see me and laugh and call me asking me where my 'Mumbi ' is. I joke with them but when I realize the joke is going too far I ran away."

Steve says he is currently dating.

"I am dating someone and I hope to marry her soon. Our work is very hard on her so I have to help her understand. Our line of work needs one to have someone to talk to."
