Media personality Terryanne Chebet has shared insights 

After her daughter, Imani struggling with eczema, Terryanne was eager to find a solution for the skin condition. 

Speaking exclusively to Mpasho Terryanne revealed that she started the Keyara Botanicals business from her kitchen. 

Here, she used to prepare the products from Shea Butter. 

“I was looking for a product for my daughter, she suffers from eczema. So one of her doctors said we should try something with Shea butter,

It started in my kitchen, packaging in little containers and selling at a price that I wasn’t sure of,” she said.

Currently, Terryanne Chebet's company boasts of over 14 products for the body and hair. 

“Feel free to start small, I started with a capital of Ksh 60, 000 which I saved from my salary. I would sell around 50 products a month," she said. 

Years ago, the mother of two lost a prestigious job at Citizen TV, and her business was one of her landing points. 

She started this business long before the job loss.
