Jacque Maribe was(and still is) a media darling before a tragic September day in 2018 when she became a suspect in the murder of Monica Kimani.

The result was the tarnishing of the brand that she had tried so hard to build. Since then, Jacque lost her plum job at Citizen TV, her relationship to Jowie and lost the stature that she had once had.

But as with all things, time has a way of healing wounds, something that seems to be happening for the chocolate-toned Jacque.

With healing comes some recognition and opportunity, meaning that one can again become a brand ambassador as you aren't toxic to a brand.

Today, the mother of one became the MC for a brand event. What was fascinating was that she came with her son, Zahari for the event.

While mom worked, Zahari was seen crouching intently as he stared intently into his phone screen.

Zahari is the love child of Jacque and Eric Omondi. Jacque dropped this bombshell on the world in October of 2019.

She wrote, “Family first. Happy graduation day Zahari. We, mum and dad @ericomondi are proud of you!"

Eric on the other hand also posted the same picture on his Instagram page writing the caption, “family” , in what looked like a well-synchronised move.
