Slain Joyce Nyambura was buried on Wednesday in a tear-filled ceremony in Kaharoko, Kiambu.
Joyce was found outside her sister's house in Kahawa West stabbed to death. This was two days before her departure to Qatar where she had found a job on July 30, 2021.
The family said Nyambura was stabbed with a knife in the abdomen and mouth. She also had bruises on her head, an indication she was assaulted before being murdered.
The family prays that they will get justice for their murdered kin, soon.
Her brother, Mc Masilver mourned Joyce saying, "Dear Sister Joyce Nyambura, when I get to heaven, the first thing I am going to do is find you."
Adding, "The second thing I will do is never let you go again. Rest In Peace. One day we’ll meet again."
In another post, Masilver paid tribute to Joyce, "Days will pass and turn into years but I will forever remember you with silent tears. It’s crazy how someone who used to be a huge part of your life, can be gone in a Second."
He continued, "You were everything to me. I miss you with all my heart, my blood sister. My sister may not always be by my side but she was always in my heart."
Adding, "My mind knows you are in a better place, where there is no pain. You are at peace. I understand that I just wish I could explain that to my heart. May the wind of heaven blow softly and whisper in your ear how much we love and miss you and wish that you were here. Farewell! God knows when we shall meet again.”
