Didmus Barasa is trending at the moment for something that happened yesterday. Apparently, the Kimilili member of parliament got into an altercation with a constituent. 

 In a video that has now gone viral, Didmus is seen smacking one of his constituents on his face.

The rumour doing the rounds is that the politician was unhappy with the musician(who had been contracted to work on repairing some classrooms) after he demanded to be paid for the work.

The allegation went on to say that Didmus really wanted to open the classrooms but that the contractor was first demanding his payment before that happened.

So thus the slap had in China was delivered by his honourable Didmus.

The contractor has since filed a report at the Kimilili police station. A picture of him in hospital is below;

In another video doing the rounds, the MP can be seen defending himself.

He explained that the man he had slapped had removed the students from class and locked them out, demanding to be paid his Sh 3 million balance first.

He said that "the slap" was a simple misunderstanding and that when he approached the contractor he saw that his trouser zip was open.

So he decided to tell him but sadly the contractor misunderstood his action and moved away from the approaching Didmus.
