Akothee's daughter talks about her meltdown

Akothee's firstborn daughter has asked Kenyans not to feel ashamed to seek help when they feel mentally exhausted.

Vesha Okello who is the manager of Akothee Safari's she has had to seek help after finding herself crying for no apparent reason.

According to Vesha, juggling school, work and her social life has not been easy.

"There are days in my life that I feel extremely overwhelmed trying to balance my school life, work life, friendship and everything that life throws at me.

Today was one of those days I felt so overwhelmed dear young-self ,for a minute I wished I was not an adult trying to juggle life in the name of being miss independent at some point I got so emotional and started crying for no apparent reason."


 


"After crying for some time I decided to call my sister @rue.baby just to find out what she was up to as always she always has something funny to say to cheer me up and it made me feel better her words to me were "siz don't be stressed chop life !!"

Anyway moral of the story is that even the strongest ones need help so don't be scared to reach out or ask for help when life pushes you to some corner and you feel too overwhelmed to handle it."

Versha's admission when Kenya has been ranked as the 4th most depressed people in Africa and no 9 globally.

Kenya has about 1.9 million depression cases.
