• Father help me, lift me up till I can touch the sky. Pick me up, dust me off and wipe my cheeks till they are dry. - Brian Barasa Wafula

Gamer and comic author Brian Barasa Wafula passed away last night after being involved in a fatal car accident.

Before his death he had a passion to grow the Gaming and comic fraternity in East Africa.

He was also a spoken word artiste and one of his origin work, he details the aspects of being a misfit.

On his Facebook he wrote, "Once upon a time, I was a spoken word artist. Used to go by the stage name S.K.A. I found this gem in the archives."

Part of the poem read: "My God, I'm not perfect but everyday I try to live according to Your will. But all I end up doing is cry.

Father help me, lift me up till I can touch the sky. Pick me up, dust me off and wipe my cheeks till they are dry.

Teach me how to do things your Son did pure. Teach me the pain and persecution to endure. I proclaim the perfection that is Christ's name.

I do this for His glory alone, this is not a game. This is Kingdom business, I don't do this for the fame and I know that I am not perfect, for this I'm not to blame but yet for my sake my Lord died for meso His name I will not profane."

May he rest in peace. Our condolences to the family, may they find peace and comfort during these trying time.
