Tanzanian artist Ali Kiba has revealed why he follows no one on Instagram despite having 6.9 Million followers.

Speaking during an interview on Bonga na Jalas he said;

''People are different, I am different. I took a music break for 3 years to see who would follow and support my music without me following back.

That was my strategy. Some people follow you just because you follow them. I do appreciate people and I don't have to follow them back for them to know that.''

He added:

''It's not that I don't look at people's accounts, I do. If I want to see my wife I just go to her account. Why would I follow my wife yet am with her? It's not that I feel special more than other people. 

I am now used to it. I just want to see who is real to me. There are people whose music I love but they do not follow me because I do not follow them. I am happy with where I am.''
