All roads lead to Naivasha this weekend as Kenyans go to witness the World Rally Championship(WRC) Safari Rally. 

Even without the Safari Rally, Naivasha town is a beautiful tourist destination.

1. Hell's Gate National Park

The Spectacular scenes here include the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub-clad volcanoes, and belching plumes of geothermal steam. 

Also, visitors can enjoy activities such as bike rides and rock climbing at Hell's gate. 

2. Lake Naivasha

On your weekend getaway, you can visit the lake to enjoy a view of different bird species and also engage in activities such as boat rides. 

You can also have a look at the hippos and crocodiles lazily floating on the lake. 

3. Crater Lake Game Sanctuary

The scenery is located on the West of Lake Naivasha, inside a volcanic crater. 

Here, you can encounter harmless animals such as monkeys  Impala and Thompson's gazelle. 

4. The Mount Longonot National Park 

Here, you will find the extinct volcano of Mount Longonot.

It provides a scenic view of the Rift Valley all the way to Lake Naivasha.

It is also home to animals such as buffaloes, lions, leopards, bushbucks, common zebra, giraffe and gazelles.
