Safari Rally driver's car rolls after crash in Naivasha (Video)

Tejveer Rai, a WRC Safari Rally champion failed to complete his race on Friday morning after his speeding car crashed. 

The rally champion was driving a Volks Wagon GTI Polo when its nose dived into the ground, causing the car to roll three times. 

Tejveer, who is a Kenyan National was in the car with his co-driver Gareth Dawe. 

Spectators and the event managers rushed to the spot quickly to check on them. 

No injuries were reported at the time.

The Friday championship involves sections 2 and 3 drivers, and is taking place at the Service Park in Naivasha (Chui Lodge 1 and 2, Kedong 1 and 2 and Oserian 1 and 2)
