Netizens know her as the first wife of Jamal who is now dating socialite Amber Ray.

However, Amira Jimal known by her online moniker Being Amira is not keen on concentrating on the drama linked to her marriage, she is all about positivity.

"We are starting this program where we give a motorbike to youths and connect them to an employer, the charity is all about empowering the marginalized people in society, and there's a lot of focus on my personal life that has made it seem like I do not have other things," Amira told Mpasho.

On Saturday, an excited Amira joined forces with a UK based clothing brand called @africanwarriorwear and launched the economic empowerment program called, A Bike A month.

"We give a motorbike to a person they choose on social media who's needy or unemployed, in addition to this, we partner with a company that does parcel service, @sallydeliveries, so that we ensure the person is meaningfully employed!"

The first beneficiary of the program was Maxwell Kamande.

Amira said, "He was doing odd jobs barely earning Ksh 300 a day, now we will connect him to a delivery service where he will be able to earn Ksh 1,000 a day."

She continued,

"it's so humbling that I can even be part of such an amazing impactful venture, as you well know I am all about turning things around and the fact that we're going to ensure that this young man's life is changed and thus his family and dependants too simply brings me tears of joy. I just hope everyone sees that you too can change the narrative if not for yourself, for another in whatever small way. If we all tried to spread positivity, we could change the world around us."

Amira added,

"People can follow @africanwarriorwear and when we're ready to give another bike we'll post for people to give a genuine reason to be granted and how this will impact their life positively."
