Garissa OCS Michael Munyalo was last evening arrested following a shooting incident in which led to the death of a 28-year-old man in a club in the town.

The incident happened on May 16 and left Moris Kimathi Kaliunga dead. The circumstances under which the incident happened are not clear.

However, officials said there was a confrontation between the deceased and the officer.

The two and other revellers had fought in the club leading to the shooting.

The OCS is expected in court this morning ahead of the planned postmortem exercise on the body of the deceased.
