Kenyan actress Brenda Wairimu is appealing for help for her friend and former high school desk mate Grace Nyambu, who's been hospitalized since February.

Nyambu is admitted in hospital after she was discovered to be suffering from Rheumatoid Athritis.

Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disorder affecting many joints, including those in the hands and feet.
In rheumatoid arthritis, the body's immune system attacks its own tissue, including joints. In severe cases, it attacks internal organs.

Sending her appeal through her social media platform, Brenda penned

This is my friend grace...she was my deskmate for most of my high-school life. I am not exaggerating saying she is the sweetest kindest girl I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, and now she needs our help to offset her medical bill. Please, if you can, send something no matter how small. Let's show a kind person some kindness too 🥺🤍

While there's no cure for rheumatoid arthritis, physiotherapy and medication can help slow the disease's progression.

Over long periods of time, the inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis can cause bone erosion and joint deformity.

No amount is too little so send what you can. Information is on the poster below
