Michael Gitonga known to many as Uhunye wa Umo has finally agreed to go to rehab.

In a post by Carolina Carlz Michael, the president's look-a-like revealed he will be in at Serenity Rehabilitation Center for the next three months, to help him quit alcohol, an issue he has been battling  with.

She wrote;

Hey, Guys. Just wanted to let you know that after highlighting the story of Uhunye wa Umo, Michael Gitinga, he agreed to go to Rehab center called Serenity. He reported by his wife Angelica and friend Matheri. We hope for the Best. Those willing to support the wife financially her No. o721670604/ 0798899965.

Carlz added that his treatment fees will be catered for by the centre adding that she will be updating fans on his progress.

Update: Forgot to mention that the cost of rehabilitation was 200,000/= & the Management of Serenity offered to take care of it..

Michael Gitonga came to the limelight in August last year after his photos went viral thanks to the fact that he bears a striking resemblance to President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Many brands offered to help him live a decent life to an extent of gifting him a new car, a house and a holiday.

He resurfaced recently saying he was “used” by brands and dumped.  He vacated a post 4-bedroom house in Kilimani house he had been given.

He mentioned off Camera that he had been told to go back to the house in Kilimani but didn’t want to, because he felt his life was in Danger.'
