The festive season is here and most people will be spending time at home with their loved ones thanks to the curfew set to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Sadly for ladies who are dating sponsors, they will be spending the festive season alone.

Legal wives are having the last laugh.

Below are some major reasons why your bae, fossil or sponsor - depending on how old he is won’t be spending Christmas with you.

Traveling upcountry

Most sponsors will be traveling up-country with their families to go catch up with their parents or their in-laws.

As you know most married men only visit their in-laws once a year and that happens to be during the festive season.

So pole sana mummy, if you get too lonely go hug your pillow.

Early school shopping

I know that this might upset you but your sponsor will be taking his kids for early shopping as they prepare to go back to school in January.

So instead of the trips you had in mind of you basking under the sun in Dubai, ‘Baba Njoro’ will be busy bargaining for school uniform, books among other things.

Najua inauma mummy but itabidi uzoee.

He will be on vacation with his kids

Another reason why you might not be seeing your sponsor this festive season is that he might have taken his kids for a much-needed vacation.

After all, hii pesa anatafutia nani if he can’t spend it on his kids?

Instead of sulking all day how about you go visit your friends and family badala ya kupandwa na blood pressure bure?

He is afraid of dying

In case you haven’t heard Coronavirus infections are on the rise.

Considering most sponsors are way above 50-years-old, they are prone to get infected and most prefer to either go home early or just chill with their wives.

So in case you spend Christmas alone just remember the day is about the birth of Christ and not about you.

Life ni fupi haitaki makasiriko.
