Mombasa county's healthcare system is mourning yet another medic who succumbed to Covid-19 today at the Coast General Hospital.
Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho shared the sad news condoling with the family of Margaret Mwadime.
'It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the loss of one of our heroines, nurse Magret Mwadime. Nurse Mwadime together with her colleagues has been in the forefront in this fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
She passed away today at the Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital Covid- 19 ICU. On behalf of the County Government of Mombasa I extend our sincere condolences to her family and colleagues. Rest well with the angels our heroine, and may the Almighty rest your soul in eternal peace. I continue to urge all of us to collectively exercise vigilance in adherence to the Covid-19 prevention's protocols and be each others keeper,' he posted.
