Gospel artiste Pitson has shared about a phase in his marriage to Karol Mwai when he woke up and found divorce papers placed besides him.

This he revelead during an appearance as a guest on the reality show 'Dine with the Muraya's'.

Talking about the horrifying experience he said

' It was very shocking.

Imagine waking up and finding divorce papers and my wife asking me to sign them.

She even went back to their home. I took three weeks before I went to get her back. Tumetoka Mbali'

Karol was quick to add that that move seems to have worked as he is now a changed man.

'He should thank me, the 'growing up' that has happened in our marriage came up after that incident.'

Pitson hit the airwaves some years back thanks to his 'Lingala Ya Yesu' song.

In a past interview with the Standard, Pitson had narrated how he met Karol during a kesha (overnight vigil) in Limuru, in 2006.

"She was one of those girls that would never stay behind after keshas to mingle and talk to artists.

That day when she heard me singing, she came back inside even if her friends left, as usual," he says.

When he was done singing, out of character, Caroline went and said hallo to him.

"She said she was a law student in first year at Moi University and bingo! I knew it. Here was the wife I wanted to marry!"

Now that we know Karol is a law graduate maybe even those divorce papers were fake, ogopa wanawake.
