It's been three years since the body of the late IEBC, ICT manager Chris Msando was discovered dumped after days of being reported missing.

He was murdered alongside 21-year-old Caroline Ngumbu a medical student.

As Msando's family marked his third anniversary yesterday all they hold onto is his memories and the hope that his killers will be found.

Days have turned into weeks and weeks into months and eventually, it has been three years since that fateful morning of Saturday the 28th July 2017, when he was found brutally murdered.

'Your special memories remain safely tucked into our hearts. We fondly remember your loving nature, smile, wisdom and generosity.

As for your family, the memory of you will never grow old.

Your life to us was a blessing and you were loved beyond measure We miss you Chris.

We ask all relatives, friends and well wishers to have a special prayer for Chris soul on this day since we cannot assemble for a memorial service due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Rest in peace our hero. In God's hands you rest, In our hearts you live forever.'

Roslyn Akombe, a former colleague to Chris took to her social media to pay tribute.

She wrote,

"No dead voters will rise on my watch"- Chris Msando. Painful that instead, on this day 3 years ago, your own colleagues led you to the slaughter house. Like Judas, they sold you for thirty-cents.

We will find justice for you, no matter how long it takes.'

Msando was murdered 9 days to the general elections. May his killers be found and brought to justice and may he rest in peace.
