Elegeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen is a romantic man.

Well, on January 2, the lawyer-cum-politician and his wife Gladys Wanjiru went for a hike in Chepturotwo, in Elgeyo Marakwet.

Yesterday, after visiting my aunt and cousin at Soko Bora, I took my wife for a nostalgic walk up the hills to Chepturotwo. Reminds me of my childhood when we were looking after goats. It was such lovely hike despite the challenges of walking along a dangerous escarpment,' he posted.
