The entertainment industry today bid farewell to one of their own Njenga Mswahili who was best known for his appearances on Churchill show.

Njenga who was best known for cracking his jokes in Swahili passed away last week under unclear circumstances.

His body was found on a railway line in Dagoretti.

His mother Susan Maria Njoki and brother Simon Kamau Njoki could not give an interview as she was overcome by emotions.

During the burial, Njenga was described as jovial, respectful, peaceful and a go-getter.

Upon his death, Laugh Industry released a statement on his death, shedding more light on what might have happened.

“HE WAS FOUND DEAD ON RAIL TRACKS THIS MORNING AFTER BEING HIT BY A TRAIN.

 IT IS NOT CLEAR UNDER WHICH CIRCUMSTANCES THIS FATE BEFELL HIM, BUT POLICE ARE BEEN INVOLVED AND MORE WILL BE DIVULGED LATER,” A STATEMENT FROM LAUGH INDUSTRY READ IN PART.

According to Laugh Industry, Njenga had not been well and as an entity, they had been involved in his well-being by taking him to a rehabilitation programme for some time together with family and friends.
