Njambi, who has gone through several surgeries and a lot of pain, has shared a post reminiscing the old times and her last time ever to host The Trend on NTV.

It's one year down since i started my journey to Atlanta. I will be sharing some moments with all of you," she wrote in part.

She added;

So this was September 25th, the last time I appeared on The Trend. I was so nervous hosting this show. I'd been a panelist for the longest time but never a host. The opportunity came to host it twice and I did my best under intense physical pain. One right out of surgery and this other show walking right into surgery. I had undergone 11 surgeries at this point. Much love and respect to @larrymadowo I think we made good tv lol....all the best at your new gig.

She continued;

So after the Trend, I'd take a walk to Kencom and take matatu to my hood. Anyway, these are emotional moments for me. A time like this last year was holding on to hope of finding a solution to thoracic endometriosis. I knew I was one surgery away from dying. I held on to hope and here I am today. Standing tall and fighting hard. To every girl out there, every woman out there, we can do this. We can overcome all these health issues. Our bodies are limitless. We may bend but never break. God's grace is sufficient.

Koikai is still calling upon well-wishers to help her raise 2.8 million for her treatment so that she can be back home.
