Gifting a Nairobian is a challenge that takes a lot of mental energy. We don’t want you to suffer as you deal with the fast paced life we currently live in. You deserve better. Save your mental energy and buy these gifts that every Nairobian will appreciate. It's Christmas and here are some ideas.

  1. Data bundles. Every Nairobian has a smartphone. Heck. Even your mother sends WhatsApp selfies with the caption “Mothering on fleek”. Send them data bundles and elevate their selfie game or social media posting habit. Great gifts for mums as well, right?
  2. KC Coconut. The National drink of choice is what you should gift your friends who drink. Just remember to send it with pineapple juice. They will love it
  3. Chapati/Avocado voucher. Okay, we don’t know if these exist yet but we suspect that you can approach your local kibanda for this offer. Which Nairobian doesn’t love chapati or avocado?
  4. Water bottle and aloe vera oil. A recent Nairobi trend has been moisturizing and keeping your skin healthy. If you don’t moisturize and hydrate, you are not a cool Nairobian.
  5. Natural hair/Beard products. I'm sorry for the people who are suffering from hair loss and can't grow facial hair. You face constant discrimination on a daily basis
  6. Printed T-shirts. For some weird reason, Nairobians love customized printed T-shirts. I still don’t understand what the fascination is with the ‘Avocado is bae’ shirts that I keep on seeing. Maybe they're already given to them as gifts...
  7. A bitcoin. Okay, why do Nairobians always get fascinated with stuff they don’t know? With that said, I gave someone some coins from Malaysia and told them “Hio ni Bitcoin. Usipeleke foreign exchange sahii. Noja mpaka 2021 na utakuwa millionaire”
  8. A supermarket bag. Since the plastic bag ban took effect a few montha go, Nairobians have been suffering and having to consistently spend 15 bob at the supermarkets. Make a Nairobians life easier by gifting them 5 bags this Christmas
  9. Kenya Power token. Tired of going to your friends house and listening to that beeping Kenya Power Meter? Mnunulie stima ya 300
  10. Traffic rules book. Nairobian drivers and pedestrians are the worst. Not to worry, you can invest in their education today. Let them learn about zebra crossings, speed limits, traffic lights and by laws today.
