Yes, I know, Tusker Premium Cider is best served chilled and this is in no way being disputed. However with Christmas time comes age old Christmas drinks. Warm apple cider is up there with mulled wine and provides a lighter more refreshing options to bring in the holidays.
To make it all you need is six cups of Tusker Premium Cider
¼ cup of maple syrup
2 cinnamon sticks
6 whole cloves
1 Orange peel in strips
1 Lemon peel in strips
Simply pour the cider and maple syrup into a large saucepan. Then add the cinnamon sticks, cloves, orange and lemon peels and boil at a moderate heat for 5 - 10 minutes.
Once it's done, strain the liquid and serve in large cups with a stick of fresh cinnamon. For that extra kick, add a tote or two of dark Rum!
