Janet Mbugua has quickly become one of the best TV presenters the country has ever produced. Known for her exquisite command of the queen's language, the mother of one has always given her counterparts a run for their money.

Janet Mbugua who can be mentioned among the greats that made the TV industry what it is today, has managed to remain relevant in the flooded industry despite the many challenges that come along with this tough career. The sultry anchor who has been working with Citizen TV, to date, is said to have resigned from the top leading media top.

According to plive, the talented newscaster

"was given an ultimatum to either do news or continue with her endorsements with various brands including Resolution Health. She decided she is going to continue with her endorsement work so she sent in her resignation last week."

Well, yesterday Janet Mbugua read news alongside Hussein Mohammed and it's not clear whether she is serving notice or she has been reinstated.

Janet who is among the few media personalities who live a straight life, has managed to sign major deals with top corporates in the East African region. The ‘Monday Special’ and ‘The Big Question’ host after news yesterday posted something on her Instagram account which many are speculating that it's a confirmation that she has resigned from the Maalim Juma road based media station.

"There's so much grey to every story - nothing is so black and white. (Lisa Ling)," she posted.

Janet Mbugua has worked for quite a number of media houses among them; eNews Africa,  eNews Channel, Africa 360 and Mombasa Road based media station - Standard Group.

When called for comment, Janet categorically stated, "I will not comment on that!"
