It is rare to find someone who takes their job seriously and goes over and beyond their call of duty to ensure a customer or client is satisfied.

In this case, a cop went beyond his call of duty to make sure a distressed citizen feel comfortable and get the help she needed.

One Facebooker by the name of Antie Mimo, narrated how a cop in Malindi help her retrieve a stolen phone and even spent his own cash to courier it back to her after the holidays.

She wrote, "I lost my smart phone in the month August 2016 in malindi. I reported to the police with little hope of ever recovering. The CID officer I reported to never asked for a single penny but gave me hope that he will trace it. Months passed and I kinda gave up....best Christmas gift was getting a call from him telling me he found it. He took a step further to send it to me via bus car and was keen to make sure it reached me safely. There are good cops out there.
