Screen siren Betty Kyallo has gone into business. The news anchor hosted the who is who at a launch of his hair studio and spa in Kilimani.
The event was graced by all the top media personalities in the TV industry from Mark Masai, Janet Mbugua to Ann Kiguta, Zubeidah Kananu Koome and Najma Ishmael.
Fashionistas like Debra Sanaipei made appearances after missing in action on the social scene, for a while. Others included dethroned beauty queen Roshanara Ibrahim, Connie Aluoch, Carol Mandi and Terryanne Chebet.
Betty Kyalo gave a speech about what inspired the business idea. She has partnered with her best friend Susan Kaittany in this mega project.
The KTN news anchor then got emotional and said her mum had to say something.
"She is the most amazing woman I know. I know all mothers are amazing but her, she is on another level of mums, and being amazing," Betty said before handing the mic to her mother.
Betty then stepped aside and wiped away tears that were falling down her face.
Betty's mum, Julia Ngii took the microphone and said that Betty's best friend and business partner, Susan was a calming and saving presence in her child's life during turbulent times.
"Susan, you came into the life of Betty when it was chaos. (Addressing Betty) There are so many things which have been said, but I love you. You will still remain [to be] my baby, no matter what. I appreciate you. You need Susan and Susan needs you. Please do not betray [each others] trust."
