I think I have started to believe that humans evolved from apes, gorillas, monkeys, baboons and other animals of the primates. While that theory could be true, there are some of us who have already undergone the whole evolution process, while others are still in the race. They are still evolving.

Kisa na maana? Some actions done by this group of primates are disgusting, flabbergasting and delusional! They are not actions that a fully evolved human being should be doing in this 21st Century.

A few characters from this group of "under evolution" beings did something last night that's got everyone asking which world they are living in. They call themselves comrades, but I prefer to call them "immature thugs"!

Now, a concert dubbed Ni Show Power was to go down at the University of Nairobi grounds today, with an aim of registering youths as voters. But shock was what hit the organizers this morning, after they showed up at the location to find the stage and the whole set up vandalized. Everything had been turned upside down. Some stuff was even torched. The scene resembled a movie set.

"I am a disappointed woman this morning. I was so excited about the ‪#‎niShowPower‬ concert today, about the chance to empower and enfranchise the youth...register to vote while watching Kenya's best and most socially conscious artists perform. It was going to be such a powerful day. Then some University of Nairobi students decided to riot, and vandalised the venue." -radio presenter Ciru Muriuki.

Adds Ciru: "I don't even have it in me to be angry. I'm just so, so sad. There is a harmful culture that needs to be addressed. The culture of expressing dissatisfaction using violence and destruction. There has got to be another way. Did the young people who did this know that the event was FOR THEM? For their benefit? Or did they feel so excluded, so powerless, that this was the only way to make themselves heard? Guys, we need to do better. We need to BE BETTER. Anyway, the #niShowPower concert has been postponed."
