Despite news that the Pope's visit is not yet assured to due to unrest in the Central African Republic, we still chose to stay positive in the hopes that he will continue with his tour.

Even After All The Praperations And Hype, The Pope Might Not Be Coming To Kenya

Well, one of the interesting facts I found out about Pope Francis is that he does not condemn homosexuals. The Pope believes that the Church should not interfere in the lives of gays and lesbians:

If someone is gay and searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?

In this regards, I sought to do a list of gay/lesbian Kenyan celebrities who should meet up with the Pope when he comes to give them hope that they are not really doing a wrong a thing until they give their lives to the Lord.

It's not easy in Kenya to come out as an homosexual; gay or lesbian especially if you are a celebrity, but as the Pope said, you have to search for the Lord first.

Here are some homosexual celebrities who should make sure meet the Pope when he comes for some good advice.

1. Binyavanga Wainaina

The celebrated author and jouranlist came out that he is a homosexual back in 2014 in a form of a letter to his late mother, a lost chapter from his 2011 memoir, which was a shock to all. I bet it will be good for the Pope to give him some advice on he should turn to God even if he is gay.

2. Eric Gitari

He is the executive director of the National Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission, Kenya. The commission provides legal aid to the LGBTIQ community in the country. He came out in 2012 through a Facebook post to make things clear. Being in this position is not easy, so I bet he would need the Pope to give him a few encouraging words.

3. Joji Baro

This has to be the most courageous gay man.. beacuse he happens to be a gospel artist. He has been gay all his life and has posted pictures on his Facebook account, standing his ground. Being close to God and being gay can be hard, how about the Pope giving him a few tips on how to go about this without being stoned.

4. David Kuria

This was the first ever gay political candidate to vie for the senatorial seat in Kiambu county and is also a rights, anti-poverty and HIV activist. He pulled out of his campaign to due lack of funds despite many saying he was forced out because of his sexuality. Pope Francis needs to sit down with him and encourage him to try it again in the next general elections.

5. Pauline Kimani

She is one of the few Kenyans to openly come out as a lesbian and is a member of the of the Gay and Lesbian Coalition of Kenya. The gay activist and how about the father giving her some hope that all people will come to accept her just the way she is.

We take this opportunity to apologize unreservedly to Pauline Kimani following the incorrect use of two images in this story earlier for any inconvenience that we may have caused.

6. Socialite Venessa Chattle

The hot Kenyan socialite has been pictured kissing other ladies and has confessed that she actually supports homosexuality, though she was once married to an old German man. Let's just say bisexual and which ever way it is, kissing girls means you like the female form. How about she makes sure she meets up with the Pope so that he can help her decide her sexuality once and for a while.
