These Used To Be The Hottest Clubs in Nairobi in Early 2000's, Remember Them?

Those who were born in early eighties probably remember these joint. But again, it all depends on the kind of family that you had. If you had strict parents like my colleague Chege and Chim, then definitely this doesn't make sense to you at all. This is a list of some of the Hottest Clubs in Nairobi in early 2000s.

1. Cactus Pub - Was located behind Nairobi cinema, on Tumaini House. This joint used to be famous for Karaoke on Thursdays and Hot Rod Band led by Kidum performance on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

2. Pavement - was popular among the young people (now grown). The club used to play house music, and was frequented by wazungu. Was located Ring Rd, Westlands.

3. Black Cotton - The joint which was in Karen used to be where all the rich kids used to hang out. it was allegedly also known for hard drugs.

4. Blue Times - This was another joint for rich kids. It was located at the International Casino in Nairobi. Was known for fights outside the club between international schools students.

5. Florida (F1) - Before relocating last year. The club used to be located on Koinange Street, and according Uncle Chim Tuna, it was where all the ratchets used to hang out.
